This past Friday was the kick off to the fishing season with the Governor’s Fishing Opener. Lake City played host this year and what an amazing location right on the banks of Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River. The weather on Friday was a bit turbulent with gusting winds coming in from the north at 40 knots right in time for the opening speakers. Governor Walz and MN Senator Amy Klobuchar were on hand to give their thanks to Lake City for hosting this great event.
