This past week Buffalo Media Group was on hand at the annual Explore Minnesota Tourism Conference. This event has not been an in-person event in two years so everyone was pleased to be back in a social environment. There were numerous keynote speeches from great Minnesotan’s such as U.S. Senator Amy Klouchar on live zoom from Washington, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minnesota Gophers Head Football Coach P.J. Fleck gave very motivating speeches. Explore Minnesota also formally announced its new Executive Director, Lauren Bennett McGinty. Buffalo Media Group was also on hand to cover the awards ceremony where many industry awards were given. Some of the awards included Marketing Campaign of the Year, Emerging Leader Award, Tourism Recovery Award, Customer Service Award, #OnlyinMN Award, and Tourism Professional of the Year Award.
